Known for his ability to manage with ease the most complex projects with multiple trade partners, rigid timelines, and high stakes, Dan builds with propriety systems he has developed, from thirty-five years of experience both inside and outside of the construction industry, to ensure both time- and cost-efficiency. Every detail is intentional. Every step is handled with utmost care. Every client matters.
Process
01: Select your lot and house plan.
This is your home, your investment, and your vision. In the Discovery Call, Initial Consult, and Site Visit, Dan will review your plans with you for feasibility, gain understanding of your needs and priorities, and make applicable recommendations. If financing will be involved, we recommend beginning the conversation with your lender at this phase. If you have not selected a house plan, our team will provide you with recommendations from our portfolio of plans, or you may select one of our curated house plans for an optimized build.
02: Customize your home to your needs.
In the Conceptual Budgeting phase, Dan takes your blueprints and specifications, and together you create a customized plan. This phase may involve plan modifications (such as adding square footage, changing layouts, or upgrading ceiling heights), finishes and features (such as custom millwork, radiant flooring, or outdoor living areas), or other key considerations (such as utility access, energy efficiency, and future needs). Every detail is coordinated and documented, until the plan matches your vision.
03: Enter into a construction agreement.
Once we’ve completed the Feasibility Study and Conceptual Budget phases, our team will deliver a line-item Budget and Takeoff Plan, and you will sign a Construction Agreement before we begin excavation. This step establishes a strong legal foundation for your home build, providing clarity and peace of mind for your investment. As a licensed and insured residential and commercial general contractor in the state of Arkansas, Pine Hill promises adherence to the scope of work and timeline outlined in the agreement, as well as compliance with building codes, laws, and regulations to exceed industry standards. The agreement also outlines clear communication and payment schedules, as well as processes for scope changes or additions.
04: Enjoy the building journey
With budgets and allowances set, we are ready to begin! Our team will schedule a series of Selection Meetings where you will choose finishes, such as appliances, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, flooring and tile, lighting, hardware, and paint. Dan will guide you through pre-scheduled Jobsite Walkthroughs to review completions and to make key decisions for each phase. In the meantime, you’ll receive Weekly Progress Updates showing every dollar spent and progress completed, and you’ll have access to our team anytime questions or new ideas arise. Relax and enjoy the process!
05: Move in with ease
You will know your home’s completion date well in advance to plan your move or relocation. On Move-In Day, enjoy a housewarming gift from our team and the confidence that every aspect of the build has been handled with the utmost care and precision.
